Why hiring a suit can be a good idea

Why hiring can be a good idea

Since opening our new, Shoreditch store in July this year, we have  already welcomed an eclectic hire wear crowd. From the 30 year old man getting married to a one off black tie hire to our very first, double hire.

Our customer, who travelled  all the way from Dubai had found us on a Google search, entered hire wear and up we came. He needed two suits for an extravagant wedding in Hampshire which required for Saturday guests to wear black tie and for the Sunday; formal attire, meaning tails. Living in Dubai and being in a creative field, didn’t own morning tails or a dinner suit.

He chose our most popular, navy blue morning tails

He sent us an email with his approximate sizes and came in on the Friday and tried the suits on. We had to make a few small adjustments and suggested he and his girlfriend have some lunch around the corner at Blanchette brick lane  (We like to recommend our local folk!)

He came back and said what a great choice it was (Trust me, their green bean salad is amazing!) The suits were all ready for him one hour later, ready for him to party the weekend away.

The suits were returned on Monday and he said how well received they had been and commented on how well they fitted. Given he was approx 6ft4”, he was a little nervous that he may land up wearing trousers that looked like they were afraid of a flood…

The moral of the story is that not all hire wear suits are shapeless, baggy and embarrassing to wear but can actually stand out. We hold a wide collection of hires for all occasions and are intent on putting peoples hire wear fears aside.

From Dubai – Shoreditch – Hampshire – Dubai; it was definitely the furthest someone had travelled for our hire wear.
