Q&A with Callum Ilott, Bishops Stortford racing driver: Part 2

In the second part of his Q&A with Alexandra Wood, Bishops Stortford based Formula 3 racing driver, Callum Ilott shares his first impressions of his visit to Alexandra Woods Bishops Stortford store last month.

What was your first impression of Alexandra Wood bespoke tailors?

I was really impressed! It’s got a traditional style but with a modern twist and it’s very open and welcoming. There’s a really nice relaxed atmosphere and a definite sense of quality as soon as you walk through the door.

Is it different to how you would have thought a tailors to be?

I’d never been to a proper tailors before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, you feel right at home very quickly. The staff were awesome, really friendly and helpful, with a cool and sophisticated environment. It’s a very impressive store.

Who could you see visiting the store?

I would imagine Alexandra appealing to high-end clientele who are looking for quality and style above all else. I can see it as a place that people would keep going back to as it has such a chilled environment and all the clothes and accessories are so impressive.

What was your favourite item in store

The dinner suit! It really caught my eye and I loved the design and cut of it. It was a really special piece of clothing!
